Finance & Resources
Headed by Executive Director of Finance Mike Suarez, our Finance & Resources department provides a comprehensive finance service for the council and specialist functions to support its financial management. The Finance & Resources department makes sure that the money the council receives is spent and looked after wisely.

Lambeth Living was proposed by Lambeth Council in 2006 as an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) to manage Council housing and leasehold stock in Lambeth. The proposal was supported by a ballot of residents.
Our mission is to deliver excellent, responsive housing services to our residents. We are more than just a landlord, we are striving to help and support residents to lead healthy lives in safe and sustainable communities. We do not under estimate the challenge ahead, which is why we want the right person to lead the senior management team and Lambeth Living. You will need to deliver our strategic vision and operational objectives, providing people leadership and direction to staff, and embed our values in all aspects of the organisation.
My fellow board members and I were chosen from a wide range of skills and experience and we are extremely proud to be on the board of Lambeth Living. We see our role as crucial in establishing an effective and efficient company that can attract investment, reap the rewards of partnership working and, most importantly, improve the lives of our residents in Lambeth.

Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO)
Lambeth's ALMO 'Lambeth Living' has been set up following the positive result in a ballot of Lambeth council tenants and leaseholders and will take over the management of the council's housing.
What is an ALMO?
An ALMO is an organisation which is set up by the council to manage and improve its homes. While the ALMO will be an independently run organisation acting as agents on behalf of the council, ownership of the properties remains with the council. Tenancies do not change and there is no change in tenants rights. The ALMO is a not-for-profit organisation owned.
