Dear Candidate
Thank you for your interest in these posts. I hope the website provides you with the information you need to prepare your application.
Barnet PCT is undergoing a period of significant change. The Commissioning PCT will separate from BCS Barnet and be called NHS Barnet. BCS Barnet is responsible for delivering community services such as health visiting service and child welfare during 2009. With an annual turnover of around £48million, BCS currently employs approximately 1000 whole time equivalent staff and provides a diverse range of clinical services in community hospitals, schools, clinics and health centres and in the home.
The roles are important, supporting the transition to two new organisations. The Human Resources (HR) team therefore requires significant transformation to reconfigure services. Some work has already been undertaken to clarify customer requirements and modernise many elements of the HR service.
The roles will be responsible for continuing the journey and providing strategic advice to the senior team and non-executive Directors on creating two organisations and merging the Education function with the HR team.
The degree of challenge for the new post holders will be high, but the rewards supporting the delivery of high quality health care to the local community is significant. If you feel you are up to this challenge, then I would be delighted to receive your application.

Chief Operating Officer BCS
