Introduction from Fiona Ledden, Director of Legal & Procurement

Procurement in Brent has transformed since 2010 with a new Procurement Strategy, a new Procurement improvement project and a new approach to working with the rest of the organisation. The procurement team work very closely with colleagues in the legal team providing our Clients with a true customer focus and an enabling attitude. The Procurement function faces an exciting few years whereby significant savings contributions are expected, a new department structure has been set up to deliver results. The procurement team are currently running an upgrade to the Oracle business suite to help control and enforce compliance of the £270m addressable spend. It is a truly exciting team to be in Procurement at Brent and we require experienced, hard working individuals to help drive this large agenda forward.
