Our recent achievement of Level 4 of the Equality Standard for Local Government puts us amongst the highest achievers in equality and diversity in the country. We were recently acknowledged by the Comprehensive Area Assessment as ‘improving strongly’, putting us well on course to meet our ambition of becoming an excellent organisation. As the leader of a newly established team and Head of Equality and Diversity, you will motivate and inspire all employees and stakeholders about equality and diversity. Your first class communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to influence a wide range of internal and external partnerships.
You will be responsible for the management of the direction of Equality and Diversity throughout the Service, working as a strategic manager to influence our continuing drive towards being an excellent Service and employer of choice.
