Enfield College is a medium sized College of Further Education with a budget of over £12million. The College currently provides courses for approximately 7,000 full and part-time students and employs over 250 staff.
The College's Mission Statement is helping people build success into their lives. This ethos of community engagement and social inclusion underpins the College culture for staff and students. The College plays a vital role in the vocational and professional training of the local and regional workforce and works in partnership with local employers and local schools.
The College is an Associate College of Middlesex University, has a partnership agreement with North London University, and links with the Universities of Luton, Hertfordshire and East London. This facilitates the progression of Enfield students to Higher Education. The College, with Southgate and Capel Manor Colleges, jointly runs the Edmonton Green College Centre which focuses upon ESOL and IT provision. The College works in partnership with key organisations within the North London area.
The College is located on a large green field site. In recent years the College site and facilities have been improved. This has included the development of a learning centre, and enhanced facilities for student support and guidance. In January 2005, the College opened a new building comprising a reception area and 24 new classroom areas fully equipped to meet the needs of our wide range of students.
The College already has specialist accommodation for specific vocational areas such as:

- information technology suite
- travel agency
- media, art and design facilities
- science laboratories
- dance studio and
- sports hall
