The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (the CPH) was established in April 2007 to maximise value for NHS trusts across the East of England. We strive for excellence in procurement so that we can help improve patient care. We are a commercially focused organisation operating within a challenging and dynamic environment.
The organisation won the prestigious Health Business Procurement Award for the second year running and delivered savings of £6.38m to customers during the financial year 2008/9. Examples of successful cash releasing projects include:
- Cardiac Stents and cath lab consumables - £1.3m.
- IT hardware - £635k.
- Temporary staffing - £480k.
- X-ray contrast media - £300k.
The CPH is structured into two sections:
- Provider side - offering strategic, clinical and non-clinical procurement services for its member trusts.
- Commissioning side - providing procurement support for PCT commissioners.
We need ambitious, customer focussed professionals to join our Provider Services Team and help us to deliver an outstanding service.
Team members enjoy a range of benefits, including:
- A modern and pleasant working environment.
- Working for an innovative and progressive organisation.
- Satisfaction in contributing to improvements in the NHS and patient care.
- Personal and professional development.
- Competitive salary.
- Flexible working options.
- Index linked pension scheme.
- Childcare vouchers.
- Minimum 27 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays.
We are based outside of Cambridge with easy access to all major routes.
