A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Head of Learning & Development to take on full responsibility across the Training, Talent and Management Development remit for this evolving Central Government Department.

Your success will be hinged on your ability to build key relationships across the organisation and your ability to take ownership for the whole training cycle ensuring that the authorities vision, values and strategic aims are achieved (from Learning and Development Perspective). As part of the Senior HR Management you will also be responsible for maintaining IiP status,  overseeing the day to day deliver of excellent customer service from the Learning & Development Team and be key in embedding a performance culture


The successful candidate will have several years experience working at this level in a large complex organisation. You will have particular strengths in leading management development initiatives and advising at board management level on strategic direction.

 

This role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis, initially for 6 months.
