My client in the NHS are currently recruiting an Interim Contracts & Performance Manager to manage all their community contracts and establish a performance management framework.

I have highlighted the key responsibilities below.

  • Lead the development of performance management & reporting capability within the strategic commissioning directorate, ensuring that the directorate Top Team have a clear understanding of the key performance targets and indicators.
  • Establish a performance management framework to improve services and decision making, embedding a performance culture across the strategic commissioning directorate.
  • Work with assistant directors to ensure appropriate monitoring of service improvement plans and to agree relevant key indicators to monitor performance against.
  • Lead commissioning governance responsibility for strategic commissioning contracts to include assurance that providers are compliant with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.
  • Develop sound risk identification and monitoring practices within the strategic commissioning directorate.
  • Candidates must have similar experience within the NHS to be considered for this role.
