Here is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Project Manager Consultant to join this HR team of this leading public sector organization.

 

This post is for a two year fixed term as it is a project role, created to plan for, and manage, the successful implementation of a fully operational HR service for a newly created organization, during a period of major change. 

 

This will involve establishing a professional and effective Human Resources Service including the creation of employment policies and procedures, and identifying and managing the successful implementation of appropriate HR systems.

 

The HR Project Manager will also be responsible for the transfer of approximately 100 employees to the new organization in line with the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE). 

 

The successful applicant will require:

  • Proven ability of leading and managing complex TUPE transfers
  • Experience of drafting and applying HR policies and procedures which combine legal compliance and good HR practice
  • Substantial experience of advising on complex employee relations casework at a senior level within a unionised environment
  • Project management skills – demonstrable experience of successfully completing a major HR project, involving managing priorities and working to specified deadlines and objectives. In this regard experience of tendering processes would be desirable.
  • Current knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in people management
  • Proven ability to explain, influence and persuade others on issues of a complex, professional and difficult nature
  • Experience of working in the Higher Education sector would be desirable
