Director of Finance Surrey and Borders NHS FT Trust

Some finance roles impact more than the bottom line. With Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, you’ll make a very real difference to the lives of those coping with mental illness, drug and alcohol problems and learning disabilities across Surrey, North East Hampshire and even further afield. We employ over 3,400 people across 127 sites, serving 1.3 million people of all ages and have an income of £170m.

We are a high-performing Foundation Trust and have a strong record of financial management. At a time when the need for efficiency across the sector has never been greater, there are exciting opportunities for us to significantly expand and develop our services. Our new Director of Finance will be critical to helping us achieve sustainable growth and development within this context.

You will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong track record of financial leadership. Whilst an understanding of health and/or social care is desirable, we are also interested in wider commercial finance skills, including exposure to significant growth through the management of change initiatives and mergers or service development.
