My client, a Central London based Charity are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to cover a period of maternity leave. Starting mid September this role is to run for 9-12 months.
Reporting into the Finance Director you will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of the financial and management accounting services in compliance with statutory regulations and Trust rules.
The Role:
-Managing a team of 9.
-Overseeing the annual budgeting process
-Year end accounts and Audit
-Overseeing the productin of bi-annual forecasts
-Developing financial systems and leading the implementation of a new P2P system across a number of sites.
-Cash and Treasury management
My client is a large multi-site Charity with an annual turnover of over £150 million and a particularly commercial ethos. The role will be fast-paced, requiring a dynamic personality with strong leadership and staff management skills.
Prerequisites for the role:
- CCAB qualification
- Charity and Private sector experience
- Thorough knowledge of Charity SORP
- Extensive experience of working within a similar size and mulit-site company.
