A Primary Care Trust is seeking an interim Director of Finance to be responsible to the Chief Executive for the financial affairs of the PCT, ensuring that all statutory financial requirements are met.
As interim Director of Finance you will be responsible for the provision of expert advice on financial policy, planning and control and performance management, with particular focus on the commissioning activities of the PCT.
Key roles and responsibilities include;
· Leading the process of negotiation, management and monitoring of contracts and SLA agreements
· Develop effective and collaborative relationships with members of the Board and Executive committee, and with all levels of the NHS key local players
· Developing and maintaining procurement skills and expertise in the Commissioning PCT and for the interrelationships with the procurement services provided by a shared service with other PCTs
· Establish, implement, maintain and develop robust financial and performance management systems and processes
The successful candidate will have operated already at Director of Finance level within a PCT.
