My client is a charity – currently working on national and international projects who requires an assistant finance partner for a fixed term period – until March 2010.
This long term contract is covering a restructure and is focussed around management and project accountant.
You will have to work with project managers to ensure that a financial monitoring framework for measuring the success and financial milestones of projects is achieved. You will forecast and plan a budget, and ensure that PM’s stick to and take control of their own budget.
A large part of the role will be working with Managers to identify the underlying commercial viability of projects, highlighting risk areas an monitoring as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have both commerce and charitable experience, so they have knowledge of SORP as well as a commercial edge - someone who is motivated by profit and loss. Any experience of Oracle is beneficial.
