Procurement Project Manager

A highly experienced Procurement Project Manager is required to identify and deliver a major savings plan whilst maintaining best in class standards of clinical safety and quality of care.

The Procurement Project Manager will be required to identify, document and implement both strategic sourcing and outsourcing opportunities across all activities within the organisation. This will include designing and implementing any new procedures to ensure that changes remain sustainable. Where appropriate, the Procurement Project Manager will set out milestones, plans and the future operating model.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

• Strong experience in;

v     Strategic sourcing across a wide range of commodities

v     Outsourcing of a range of operational activities

v     Procurement project management in complex and challenging environments

• The ability to identify and realise other opportunities for operational efficiencies and savings

Experience of working in the healthcare sector in general and the NHS in particular would be highly desirable
