Statutory Accountant

A new position within an Information Technology company. Our client is seeking someone to focus on the statutory accounts and tax returns for UK, French and European operations.  This role reports to the Head of Statutory Accounts.

 

Your role will include;

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for the French operation
• Management of the external audit for France and other countries, working with country specific controllers
• Working in close proximity with external audit teams
• Production of accurate data and ensuring the process documentation is in place

 

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Thorough understanding of French statutory chart of accounts
• Great communication & presentation skills
• Exposure to IFRS & SOX
• Good level of computer literacy
• Drive, ambition and self motivation

 

In addition; working knowledge and experience of French Tax requirements and French GAAP are a requirement.

 

The successful candidate will have an engaging personality with the ability to deal with people at all levels across various cultures.
