Regional Accountant

My client is a well establish specialist Charity organisation with offices across the UK. 

This leading Charity is looking for a CCAB qualified Regional Accountant who will be based in one of the groups’ regional offices in the North of England.

The post holder will take responsibility for financial management of their region whilst also providing relevant information to support central finance production of accounts.  Key relationships will be established with Central Finance, Regional Management teams, banks, HMRC and all relevant financial and statutory agencies.

Key roles and responsibilities include;

• Prepare financial plans and budget for region and offices
• Provide monthly management accounts and performance reports for regional and office management
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual accounting processes are undertaken in compliance with best practice
• Monitor and report on casework billing, cash flow management and valuation of casework
• Manage payroll process for the region
• Manage regional contracts, ensuring best value
• Lead, motivate and manage direct reports

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a regional financial service and train staff in their team in financial procedures and processes.
