National Housing Federation Conference 2010
Morgan Law attended the National Housing Federation conference last month in sunny Warwick, as we look forward to doing every year – we found that whilst there were slightly less attendees than previous years, it was none the less a great success.
We enjoyed the opportunity it afforded us to catch up with many of our clients, discuss the effects of the recession, the proposed abolishment of section 106 agreements, changes to SORP (component accounting), aswell as current levels of impairment and ways in which our clients will be tackling this and the many other challenges in the sector at the moment.
It was certainly a good opportunity for us to identify where we can continue to work in partnership with our clients and provide appropriate support by way of the appropriately skilled candidates for the challenges that lie ahead, as identified by the keynote speakers.
Thank you to all those who attended the drinks and nibbles session onthe stand on the Thursday afternoon – there were some interesting, informal discussions taking place and some good introductions were made for all.
