Reporting into the Divisional Financial Controller, this is a fast paced and hands-on position that will uniquely involve you in the success of this inspiring Division.

You will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant with proven experience of delivering a high calibre management accounting service;
• Undertake detailed financial planning and analysis, supporting each of the Divisions 18 academic departments;
• Be capable of working independently, providing advice to key University stakeholders;
• Be competent in working with large departmental budgets, with total incomes ranging from £6 million to £143 million;
• You will have the gravitas to act as partner and advisor to both senior academic professionals and departmental staff;
• Strive to improve financial standards within our working practices, and will face challenges in an intellectual and positive manner.
