Terms of Employment

Grade: P0 9
Hours: 36 per week
Salary Scale: £48,252 - £52, 968 inclusive of London Weighting
Period of Notice to be given by Postholder: Three months
Superannuation: Contributions deducted from salary.
% contribution rate depends on salary.
Annual Leave:

25 days but if have previous service with another council could be higher.

Plus two extra statutory days which are added to the annual leave entitlement under a local agreement.
Pre-employment checks: All appointments are subject to medical clearance.
Sickness Payments: Normal local government conditions apply and full details are available, on request.

Post Entry Training:

Post entry training is available to employees to study for specific qualifications. We allow day release of block release facilities and pay all expenses in connection with study, examination fees, additional travelling, etc.

If an employee leaves The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames within a two year period following the receipt of post entry training facilities, reimbursement of all expenses paid by the authority must be made by the employee.
