Hello and thank you for taking the time to drop in and view our site.
As a bit of background, we provide mental health, learning disability and social care services; covering the whole of Surrey and North East Hampshire. Our turnover is just over £170m and we employ around 3,000 people. The Trust itself was formed in 2005 from the merger of three organisations. In May 2008 we were approved as a Foundation Trust.
A simple set of words and facts, that don’t really do justice to the challenges and changes we have gone through in the past and will do so again into the future.
As a Foundation Trust we are granted freedoms that allow us to act with greater autonomy; that means that we can and must innovate, not just to survive but to thrive.
We have recently put in place a Commercial Directorate; under the leadership of the Commercial Director this new business focussed unit will support operations in identifying and bidding for new opportunities, manage the contract portfolio and work closely with finance and performance in developing and improving contract performance and revenue.
The finance function is also undergoing change; with financial management supporting the delivery of service line management - bringing decision making closer to the frontline, while financial services will be improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our finance and procurement processes. Finance helping the organisation in the management of financial resources in the face of stiff public sector economies and our own challenging strategic change programmes.
I’m looking for individuals who are not just technically competent. I need first class managers who are highly self motivated and can motivate others to achieve what some can only aspire to.
