Overview of Financial Management Services Department at Southwark Council

Structural ChartThe ‘FMS’ department manages the Council’s finances including preparing the Council’s budget, managing the Councils’ money and making sure that the financial strategy supports the Council’s ambitions.

There are a number of issues on the horizon including meeting new CPA standards on the use of resources, the 2007 comprehensive spending review, supporting new partnerships such as the children’s trust and major regeneration projects, amongst many others.
