Thank you for your interest in working for the Metropolitan Police Service’s Resourcing team.

The Metropolitan Police Service is the biggest we’ve ever been and the most diverse and we are still growing.

As we head into our third and biggest year yet for Police Officer Growth the challenges for us in the Resourcing team are high, but with this comes an exciting opportunity for innovation and change; we have started on our journey to reduce time to hire and improve candidate engagement, but still have more to do to attract, engage and identify the best talent for both Police Officer and Police Staff roles across the service.

We are a specialist team comprising attraction, assessment design, occupational psychology and policy development. We work closely and collaboratively with our outsourced recruitment provider and across the HR team to deliver a great experience to both candidates and hiring managers.

I am looking for talented people with experience in a recruitment, assessment or HR environment who have worked closely with managers across the business to identify and implement effective resourcing solutions. Whichever role best suits your skills and experience, you will be confident in a fast and changing environment, enjoy working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and teams and be ready to get involved in our continuous improvement and innovation projects.
