Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a medium sized local hospital providing acute and community health services for one of London’s most culturally diverse communities. It also provides a range of specialist services for a much wider population and is proud to be a designated hospital for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As one of the original hospital Trusts to gain Foundation Trust status, Homerton is now one of 115 Foundation Trusts which are widely considered to be the flagships of NHS patient care, delivering some of the best patient care in the country.

With over 2500 staff directly employed by the Trust, and a further 1000 contracted to work for us or placed here for training, we continue to push the boundaries of excellent patient care and are investing in major capital expansion programmes to increase our services and reach.

To help us continue our journey we are now seeking an exceptional Human Resources professional to lead the ongoing modernisation of our workforce. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be working closely with our Divisional Operations Directors to integrate Human Resources as a key partner in the continuing development and success of the organisation.

As the most senior HR professional within the Trust we are looking for an ambitious individual with strategic and operational flair to drive a first class HR service. You will oversee and provide professional advice on all aspects of workforce, recruitment and employee relations practice, as well as technical and HR advice to the Board.
