All areas of the Council are under review including our ability to seek improve contract management and secure the best outcomes from contracts.
The Role
In this new role you will be accountable for managing two of the Councils large PFI contracts that cover Adult Social Care and Education. The role will ensure service performance, value for money and that the services being delivered remain relevant. Reporting into the Director of Commercial Investment, this role will involve influencing at senior levels across multiple service areas and leading the commercial and contractual relationships with suppliers.

The Person
We are seeking an individual with in-depth experience of managing PFI contracts and a proven track record in achieving improvements. Ideally with experience in the Adult Social Care market, candidates will also be considered that can demonstrate adaptability, experience and insight.
The role will pay a salary of circa £56,000, plus membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme. The salary is subject to review each April.
