Interim Head of Strategic Resources and HR – Remote/Hybrid Working
My client, a large London Council looking to appoint an Interim Head of Strategic Resource and HR for an initial period of 6 months.
This is a broad generalist remit for someone who has operated at HR Head of Service level with another Local Authority but has a strong focus on identifying and ensuring strategic resourcing gaps are met.
You will need to have the ability to work with Corporate and Service Directors, problem solving against challenges such as high agency spend, whilst understanding the talent pipeline and career pathways (current and new) as the Council reshape the services post Covid and broader challenges.
The functions which form part of this service area are apprenticeships, graduate recruitment, work experience, early careers pathways as well as Strategic HRBPs which are integral to their Departmental Management Teams.
The successful candidate will need ability to analyse different HR data sets, identify issues and risks, ensuring the information is processed and fed correctly into HR allowing service action plans to be create. Also working to ensure that the other HR teams both support and collaborate, through SHRBPs to deliver results.
