Learning & Development Specialist
My client, an inspirational and much loved UK Charity brand now has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Learning and Development Specialist to join them on a permanent basis.
As Learning and Development Specialist working alongside colleagues in the existing Learning & Development team, you will contribute to the delivery of an exciting new L&D strategy that is closely linked to a number of key strategic organisational objectives and designed to embed a learning culture within the organisation. As L&D Specialist you will be responsible for a wide range of training for staff and managers, from induction and mandatory training for new staff, through to management development training, EDI training and much more! You’ll also work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to understand and diagnose specific local training needs and design new training content and blended learning solutions, taking into account different learning approaches.
To be considered you will be an experienced and adaptable training specialist with proven experience in facilitating training and a passion for learning and development and for supporting people to reach their potential. You’ll also need to demonstrate an understanding of how people learn in different ways and how learning approaches are evolving in a post-pandemic world, together with a clear commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working with databases and online people platforms/LMS, designing eLearning modules and providing learning data insights and analysis. Previous experience in a similar role in the Charity sector would be desirable but is not essential.
