Hosting 390 events a year in the main auditorium and more than 800 in other smaller spaces, the Royal Albert Hall stands true to its original purpose of promoting the Arts and Sciences.

We are seeking a credible and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our busy HR team to cover a period of maternity leave. The post-holder will act as a key HR point of contact to a number of departments; providing a professional, high quality HR service through championing the effective resourcing, management, and wellbeing of all its people and providing practical and effective support and guidance to management and staff.

We are looking for candidates who have had prior experience of providing generalist HR advice and employee relations guidance within a fast paced, demanding working environment. You will have excellent knowledge of employment legislation, an understanding of HR best practice, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to foster and develop strong relationships with a variety of colleagues. Another key aspect of the role is the management and development of HR systems, and so previous experience of this is essential.

You will need to be CIPD Level 5 qualified, resilient, personally confident, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to cope effectively with a high level of work activity and changing priorities. You will also have an enthusiastic, proactive and pragmatic approach to your work and an ability to work with complete discretion and confidentiality.

The role will suit a team player with excellent attention to detail, a flexible and unflappable approach and the ability to plan and prioritise their own workload in order to achieve performance standards and objectives to agreed deadlines. You will be confident and comfortable in learning, understanding and developing various HR systems.
