We are looking for a talented Programme Development Manager to understand the needs of the commissioned market, package our programmes for it and develop a scaling strategy for each programme. Your insight into the commissioned services market will feed in to our Lab for the development of new programmes, whether face to face or digital.

Main Purpose:

Working within the NCT Partnerships team you will support NCTs work to increase the number and diversity of parents that our programmes reach by taking successful pilot programmes from our ‘lab’ and taking them to scale. This work will be delivered through the strategic planning of scale up work, producing robust yet flexible plans for increasing the number of parents each new programme reaches. Developing, managing and delivering effective and sustainable relationships with commissioners and trusts and foundations will be key to this role, as will a sound grasp of evidence-based programme development.

Main responsibilities & duties 

  • Work with our Business Development Manager to provide regular, concise, actionable insight from commissioning market to inform future programme development
  • Raise awareness of the impact and the Theory of Change of new programmes through identification of opportunities for NCT to speak as the expert
  • Work with Knowledge team to develop material to demonstrate the impact of services and their theory of change, packaging products for sale
  • Identify and establish a network of key early adopters and champions for programmes
  • Develop, manage and deliver effective and sustainable relationships with commissioners and trusts and foundations to facilitate scale-up work
  • Develop robust and flexible scale up plans for pilot projects coming through the NCT ‘lab’

Essential:

Experience

  •  A proven track-record of scaling new programmes that have been proven at pilot stage
  • A sound grasp of evidence-based programme development

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills, with the ability to comfortably represent the charity to high level stakeholders, Trustees, the Chief Executive and Directors
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to develop teams
  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Able to travel in the UK regularly
