Infrastructure & Support Engineer
Our client is looking for an Infrastructure & Support Engineer to provide desktop and network support when required at more than 23 sites located across England and for about 300 system users. The role is also key to maintaining and monitoring their Cloud-based and Wi-Fi services to ensure that the infrastructure is secure and performing well at all times.
Your expertise will also be required on their network upgrade projects, for existing and new build sites across the organisation. Depending on these, you will be required to use your technical skills to problem diagnose, solution design, provide support and maintenance on a variety of hardware, software and network products and be part of the project implementation team.
To succeed in this role, you must have a detailed knowledge of
- Windows platform
- Microsoft: Server 2008 R2 upwards
- Microsoft: Active Directory
- Microsoft: Exchange
- Citrix XenApp
- Windows 7, 8, 10
- Mobile – iphone
You will have to undertake a DBS check for this role. If you are immediately available that is also desirable for a handover with the current incumbent.
