Capital Accountant

Requirements:

• Proven experience in capital accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with complex financial data
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders

Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
• Demonstrable experience in a similar capital accounting role within the public sector or a local authority
